What holds all of us back from creating the life we really desire is the same thing…fear.
Fear. It is that simple. There is no other obstacle. When we come from a place of fear we can’t see it, create it, or be it. I know this because I lived it, in both my career and personal life.
I worked for a decade in a demanding, draining position and as result the rest of my life was wildly out of balance. I was completely stressed out and did a horrible job of taking care of myself. I knew it all had to change. But wasn’t sure if I could really do it. But the wind kept whispering that life could be better, that I could live differently, that I could have more. I could be successful, healthy, and happy. I knew I wanted to do something that allowed me to integrate my strengths in guiding others, my life experiences, and that also allowed me to be more independent and creative.
So I heeded the whispers, worked through the fear, and created the career and life I dreamed of. I integrated my 15 years professional experiencing managing, teaching, administrating and developing programs, hiring and recruiting, counseling and supporting men and women through transitions, and my interests in art and wellness, and became a life coach.
I launched my own business, became involved in leading Personal Renewal Groups (Renee Trudeau’s nationally-recognized life management coaching program serving thousands of women around the globe) and it has continued to grow from there. Serving clients here in the Twin Cities and around the country, I do individual coaching, conduct workshops and retreats, and co-facilitate yummy retreats with Renee around the country in fabulous places like Kripalu and the Crossings. I also serve as a Senior Coach with Austin-based Career Strategists firm and as media expert on life balance and navigating life transitions.
My unique approach to coaching has empowered people to bring more focus, energy, balance, and passion to their lives. I focus on encouraging my clients to leverage their innate strengths and to create lives of purpose and meaning. Clients describe me as accessible, authentic, highly effective, a superb communicator, able to see the big picture, creative in my approach, empowering, and supportive. I am masterful at blending the inner and outer work needed to create positive life and career changes.
I make my home most of the year in the Twin Cities, except when I am off exploring. I love to dabble in yoga, rock-climbing, reading, gardening, collaging, creating, exploring the mind/body/spirit connection, being outdoors, dancing, taking pictures, trying things at least once, endurance running, completing triathlons, savoring good food, camping, taking risks, relishing in spa days, relaxing on the shores of big lakes and oceans, traveling, learning, laughing, and loving my little princes.
